Cheese 201: Protected Designation of Origin Cheeses (Hoyt Library)

  • Hoyt Public Library Auditorium 505 Janes Avenue Saginaw, MI, 48607 United States (map)

Join us for a FREE short lecture and tasting at Saginaw’s Hoyt Library. Event is on Nov. 2nd from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. Have you ever wondered what makes a cheese like Parmigiano Reggiano, Feta, or Roquefort so special? While the answer is many things, it often boils down to the place that they are made! This is where PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) Cheeses come into play. Come learn about PDO cheeses and sample a few while you learn!

Tickets are FREE, BUT REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please register at the Public Libraries of Saginaw Website.
